Pock teasin' Tala from the top of a fridge, of all things. ;D She desperately wants that fish biscuit, but if she stood on her hind legs to get it, she'd probably tip the fridge over.
---
First of all: Her pose is, yes, similar to that in Colliefied. HOWEVER, this one actually has a story behind it. XD When drawing Tala with a group of fursona'd friends, I remarked that it's funny how I am actually shorter than all of them IRL, but in my art am always massively bigger. Pocket told me it was futile to hide from my hobbitness in my art, and this was the visual that popped up in my mind, fridge and all. It made me smile as a vague idea, and it makes me smile now. XD;
Secondly: Tala's a lioness. Well - a lioness with a bit of a scrappy mane. (I'd be jealous of all the d00ds without one.) I've been wanting to be able to draw lions forever, and, using Disney style as a crutch, I finally can! I couldn't resist creating this lioness fursona and now that I have, I adore 'er. Them markings just look too damn hot on her. XD Unlike the very temporary Border collie fursona, I get the feeling this one's a keeper; at least for awhile.
One last little story: I showed this drawing to six of my friends, and five out of the six said, "I like the fridge." Those exact words. Five of them in a row. Me, I hate it. I took me so long to do halfway-decent door handles that I almost wanted to just draw pieces of rope tied to the doors instead. If anyone can shed light on the fridge mystery, I'd be grateful, 'cause I just don't get it.

...Fish biscuit [c] Lost? XD
Evil black foxy. Poor Tala. I opened up the page and looked at the pic, and thought: Hmm, she looks more feline today than usual. Liek a lion or soemthing rather than a wolf. THEN I read the description! And I understood. She looks great!
I love it. Pock's all "You suck" and Tala's like "But it isn't MY fault I'm short! .____." You draw awesome felines and the markings look so kewl on teh lioness.

;D Drawing felines was a skill I only just mastered, believe it or not. Earlier (like two weeks ago), it wasn't like I could put a kitty in any old pose and be comfortable with it. Now I'm starting to experiment more and I'm improving a lot. ^^ And YES - I looove them markings on the lioness!
